On Saturday, January 30 Blakeley offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the amazing natural heritage of the Delta region.
At 8:00 and 9:00 AM, we welcome local biologist, professional educator, and falconer Mark Wetzel for a one-of-a-kind wildlife program. Wetzel regularly trains birds in the park, and has generously offered to allow a small group to accompany him on a guided hunt with one of the raptors under his care. Come learn about incredible raptor species and witness these magnificent animals in their natural habitat!

As this program involves an actual live hunt, it is not suitable for children under age 12. Preregistration is required.
